About our accommodation and services

Our native timber lodge is well sited at the rear of two acres of English-style gardens with just a touch of the South Pacific.

Guests can enjoy the mature trees, lawns, flower beds and a wide variety of New Zealand and exotic fruit trees, and will be offered afternoon tea with home baking on arrival.

The gardens

Wake to birdsong and the smell of coffee and bacon and plan your day’s activities over a delicious breakfast.

We are happy to assist with bookings and tour reservations. We cater for all parties including families.
Each evening return to the peace and serenity of Plane Tree Lodge; wash the sand from your hair and enjoy a delicious meal at one of our local restaurants.

Alternatively, savour a glass of wine in the spa pool while watching the sun set over a peaceful country landscape.
At Plane Tree Lodge we want to help you create memories which will last a lifetime.

Accommodation

There is an attached, self-contained, cottage with its own private entrance. comprising two bedrooms (one queen and one twin), bathroom, lounge/dining room, with TV, stereo, etc., and a fully equipped kitchen. This is available with or without breakfast.

Upstairs in the lodge, we have a guest lounge with TV, DVD, stereo and tea and coffee making facilities, two bedrooms with queen-size beds and one bedroom containing a king-size single bed. All bedrooms have their own en-suite and are equipped with hair dryers, toiletries, towels and bathrobes.
